I believe the way to happiness, beauty & mental clarity is through nutrition. 

My path toward Cast Iron Kitchen began while attending an Integrative Mental Health conference held by Dr. Andrew Weil. At the time, I was studying to become a psychologist, but the classes on pharmaceuticals weren't sitting well with me. At the conference, I realized the missing piece in typical psychology practice-- nutrition. The studies connecting mental health to nutrition were so eye-opening for me, I completely changed my lifestyle and I moved to San Francisco for nutrition & culinary school at Bauman College.

I've been eating a whole foods, paleo style diet for six years now, and I have so much more energy, purpose, clarity, and happiness. I knew I needed to help others achieve the same results-- to become the best versions of themselves. 

Always on a mission to learn and improve, I attend as many conferences, seminars, and continuing education events as possible! As new science emerges on nutrition, epigenetics, and mindfulness, I take care to integrate it into my menu and nutrition practice. I want my clients to feel assured that they're receiving the absolute best ingredients and guidance for their health.
